Partnerships
Western Civic Bulletin considers collaborations and partner placements that fit a curious, reader-first publication about local civic life. Use the Contact page to describe the proposal, its purpose and who would be involved.
Possible collaborations
We are open to conversations about clearly scoped cultural or educational projects, commissioned explainers, reader events and other collaborations connected to shared places, local records, customs or neighbourhood knowledge. A proposal should offer a clear reason for readers to care and should not depend on presenting promotion as independent reporting.
Partner placements
Relevant partner links or placements may be considered where the subject fits the publication and the destination is described plainly. Inclusion is not an endorsement of every claim or service associated with a partner. We reserve editorial control over wording, placement and whether a proposal appears.
Clear labels
Any paid, supplied or otherwise supported content is identified as advertising or partner material. Partner content is distinct from independent editorial work, and labels remain visible wherever that material is encountered. Send the proposed format, subject, intended audience and any support involved through the Contact page.
A place is more than its map
We look for the civic details hiding in plain sight: a name, a notice, a gathering place or a familiar local custom.
